This just happened:
Gulp. (and that is an understatement!) What have I gotten myself into?! Oh, and is it crazy that I will be using this – my first full marathon in May 2013 – as a baby marathon for the ING NYC Marathon 6 months later?
I’ll be using Hal Higdon‘s Novice 2 training program as I have a number of halfs under my belt and I’ve been running for at least year. Training begins like now. Holy %$^!
yay! this is awesome! can’t wait to follow your journey! (:
thanks!!! 🙂 i am excited!
That’s so exciting!!
ooooohhh baby! I know the feeling!! I just finished my first full marathon on Sunday and when I signed up–I had the same feeling you did. I love that you called it a baby marathon, though. 🙂
i am excited and nervous and everything all at the same time. i hope i end up ok and not wrecking myself up for the november run. i figure worse comes to worse and i bonk really hard, i can a) walk it or b) dnf – though I would hate to do that.
